Cuxhaven (Germany)

The twinning scheme between the two towns has been in existence since 1963.


Located in the province of Lower-Saxony, at the end of the peninsula between the estuaries of the Elbe and the Waser in the North Sea. The town has 55,000 inhabitants and is in fact the outer harbour of Hamburg. Its principal industries are tourism and fishing. The twinning agreement was signed in 1963  President of Vannes-Mons committee: Mr. Lionel LAMOUR

Activités : Promoting the friendship that unites the two twin towns in schools, students, business, associations and cultural, sporting and economic activities.
BP Amicale franco-allemande du Pays de Vannes (Vannes area BP Franco-German association): to encourage meetings between Franco-German couples living in the Pays de Vannes area.
