Dog mess

Loving animals also means accepting and obeying a few rules of common courtesy, particularly in order to avoid the annoyance caused by dog mess on the streets.

With a few simple lessons, owners and dogs can adopt responsible civil behaviour.

■ I am a responsible owner:
■ I keep my dog on a lead,
■ my dog is identified: tattoo and (or) tag.

■ my dog is clean:
■ I teach him to use the gutter
■ or I use a bag and a pair of dog mess tongs.
Bags and dog mess tongs are available to the public throughout the town. In addition, areas are set aside for dogs at various sites around the town.
