Vannes town council is putting a great deal of effort into making as many people as possible aware of environmental protection issues
Day-to-day commitment of the council teams
Vannes town council sweeps up approximately 1,500 cubic metres of street litter annually. The cleaning service, consisting of 31 persons, works every day of the year in order to keep the town clean.
In an idyllic rural and coastal setting, the Rives du Vincin site is a protected natural area belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral (coastal protection society) and managed by Vannes town council. An educational farm will be opened in spring 2007.
