Ouest-France launches a short stories contest

 
On the occasion of the next ‘Salon du livre en Bretagne’, which will take place on June, 19th, 20th and 21st at ‘les Jardins des remparts’, Ouest-France organizes a Short story contest on Vannes and the harbour.


Maximum lenghth : 3 type-written pages, or 10 000 signs.

The participation to that contest is free and no purchase necessary.
The readers are invited to send their writings before Monday, 15th June to the following Internet address : redaction.vannesuest-france.fr.
Each participant will have to indicate his/her name, Christian name, age, complete address, phone number. Only one production per participant is authorized.
 
A jury composed of journalists of the editorial department will select two prizewinners,
One short story for the Junior prize (less than 16 years old) and the other for the Adult prize. The selected short stories will be published on Thursday, 18th June in the daily Ouest-France newspaper of Vannes. They will also be edited on-line on the newspaper website.
 
The prizes will be 1 MP4 drive and a wheather station. They will be delivered on Saturday, 20th June, at 17:30 p.m., under the ‘café littéraire’ marquee on the occasion of ‘Le salon du livre’. The prizewinners will be informed by e-mail and post mail. The present rules can be obtained on simple demand, or via Ouest-France promotion, 4 rue Madame Lagarde in Vannes.
